Faith and Tradition Matter

The picture is not a photograph of the Kemps, that would not be allowed. It's an AI generated illustration of a typical Amish establishment.

The Kemp Family is an Old Order Amish family that has been operating their farm in the same location for more than 50 years. As can be seen in the mission and vision statements, their religious faith is the foundation of their lives and how they live them.

Mission Statement

To honor God through humble and faithful stewardship of the land and livestock, producing pure, wholesome milk, cheese, and eggs using traditional methods that reflect our commitment to simplicity, integrity, and the well-being of our family and community.

Vision Statement

To sustain a way of life rooted in faith, family, and farming—preserving our heritage while providing future generations with the knowledge, land, and values needed to continue producing nourishing crops, dairy, poultry and eggs in harmony with God’s creation.

The Kemp farm is located at the south end of Milroy, Rush County, Indiana.  Their gently rolling fields produce the certified organic hay used to feed their livestock through the winter.  These same fields provide spring/summer/autumn grass for the cattle and horses.  Their dairy cattle are all 100% grass fed, they are not given any grain.  The milk produced is certified organic (by QCS). The entire herd has A2A2 genetics.  Their poultry and eggs are "organically managed" and pastured.  Organically managed means they follow all the USDA rules for organic poultry and eggs, but they do not spend the extra money for organic certification for their poultry operation.

The Kemp farm also hosts their non-agriculture business, Hoosier Vinyl Products, a manufacturer of vinyl windows and doors.  We will be adding a link to Hoosier Vinyl Products in the very near future for those who want more information about it.

You are welcome to schedule a visit to the Kemp farm. Please DO NOT call us on Sunday.

You may schedule the visit by calling the farm directly at the number below.  Note that the email address below is answered by our friends at Seven Springs Farm, we, as Amish, do not have our own email address.  Our friends at Seven Springs Farm also host our website on their servers.
